A Special Ambrosia mix with one shell slot

Special Ambrosia of Legends

Special · five slots

1 × Icy Rock1 × Balm Mushroom1 × Big Root1 × Mystical Shell1 × Honey

Bag cost: 3 Icy Rock, 3 Balm Mushroom, 3 Big Root, 3 Mystical Shell, 3 Honey

Use one slot each of Icy Rock, Balm Mushroom, Big Root, Mystical Shell and Honey. This is five large/special ingredients totaling 10 quality points in the included model. No Rainbow Matter is required for this example.

One shell slot spends 3 Mystical Shells in a basic pot, 10 in Bronze, 15 in Silver or 20 in Gold. Calling this a “one-shell recipe” without that distinction would understate the real cost.

Which visitors can this Special mix attract?

PokémonSpecial Ambrosia model chance
Articuno15.87%
Zapdos15.87%
Moltres15.87%
Mewtwo47.62%
Mew4.76%

These rounded shares come from the Hidden50/pq community weights used by our finder. Their rounded total can differ slightly from 100%. They describe each attracted Pokémon, not a guarantee about a batch or a fixed number of attempts.

Mew is substantially less likely than Mewtwo in this model. If Mew is your target, budget for uncertainty rather than treating a few unsuccessful dishes as evidence that your ingredients are wrong.

Quality matters when your target is Mew or Mewtwo

Good Ambrosia: a different target pool

Good · five slots

1 × Mystical Shell1 × Bluk Berry1 × Fossil1 × Tiny Mushroom1 × Apricorn

Bag cost: 3 Mystical Shell, 3 Bluk Berry, 3 Fossil, 3 Tiny Mushroom, 3 Apricorn

The Good-quality example uses Mystical Shell, Bluk Berry, Fossil, Tiny Mushroom and Apricorn. In the included weights, Good Ambrosia targets the three legendary birds; it does not include Mew or Mewtwo. Making Ambrosia is therefore not enough by itself when you want one of those two species.

Check both the dish and the quality. The quality-point guide explains why the two examples are different even though each uses one shell slot.

Where Mystical Shell fits into progression

Mystical Shell is an endgame ingredient associated with legendary encounters on Happenstance Island, World 12. Reaching the relevant expeditions does not guarantee a shell drop on every run. Choose stages your team can finish reliably before planning a long cooking session.

This guide does not promise a guaranteed farming stage, a drop rate, or an exact number of runs needed. Track your own completed runs and ingredient gains if you want to compare farming efficiency.

Protect rare ingredients from avoidable mistakes

  1. Read the full five-slot mix, not just the dish name.
  2. Select a pot and check its actual shell requirement.
  3. Use Special quality when targeting Mew or Mewtwo in this model.
  4. Recheck every substitution in the homepage recipe finder.
  5. Remember that a successful dish can still bring another eligible visitor.

Questions players ask

Do I need five Mystical Shell slots?

No. The Special example above uses one shell slot and four other ingredients. More shell slots are not required to reproduce that mix.

Can I guarantee Mewtwo?

No. Special Ambrosia includes other visitors. Its 47.62% model rate is not a guarantee.

Why do other sites give different recipes or percentages?

There are many valid mixes, and probability references sometimes disagree. We identify the model used here and keep it consistent with the homepage rather than combining incompatible figures.
