Pokémon Quest Dratini Recipe: Exact Mix & Pot Costs
For Dratini, the highest-chance option in our included community model is Special-quality Blue Soda. A simple exact mix is five Icy Rock slots; it is a chance at Dratini, not a guaranteed visitor.
The straightforward Dratini mix
Special Blue Soda for Dratini
Special · five slots
Bag cost: 15 Icy Rock
Five Icy Rock slots use 15 Icy Rocks in a basic pot, 50 in Bronze, 75 in Silver or 100 in Gold. The model gives Dratini a 39.06% share of this dish-quality visitor pool. Select your pot before comparing what you can afford.
You do not need Mystical Shell or Rainbow Matter for this particular mix. If you are saving those ingredients, five Icy Rocks is easy to recognize and reproduce.

Very Good Blue Soda alternative
Very Good · five slots
Bag cost: 9 Icy Rock, 6 Bluk Berry
| Option | Five slots | Dratini chance in this model |
|---|---|---|
| Special Blue Soda | 5 Icy Rock | 39.06% |
| Very Good Blue Soda | 3 Icy Rock + 2 Bluk Berry | 13.23% |
The Very Good option uses fewer Icy Rock slots but has a lower per-visitor Dratini rate in this model. Neither option is universally cheapest in farming time: that depends on your stock and expeditions. Open the Pokémon recipe finder to compare more mixes.
What “39.06% chance” does and does not mean
The percentage is calculated from the Hidden50/pq community weights used by this site. PokeQuestRecipes.me publishes the same rounded Special-tier figure; other references can disagree. It is not an official rate announcement or a result of new in-game trials performed for this article.
A few unsuccessful pots do not prove a recipe failed. First check whether you cooked the expected dish and quality. If those match, another visitor can be a normal outcome. Do not treat the displayed percentage as a schedule that guarantees success after a fixed number of attempts.
From Dratini to Dragonite
Attract Dratini first. Its evolution line in the dataset is Dratini → Dragonair at level 30 → Dragonite at level 55. A search for Dragonite in the homepage finder redirects to Dratini’s cooking options.
A recipe does not promise Dragonite’s moves or a particular stone-slot layout. Recruiting the species and developing the Pokémon are separate tasks. Keep those goals separate when deciding how much to spend on another batch.
Before you start another pot
- Count five slots, including repeated Icy Rocks.
- Check the actual pot cost.
- Keep lower-tier and Special-tier chances separate.
- Recheck substitutions using the ingredient guide.
- Inspect the resulting dish before blaming an unexpected visitor.
Questions players ask
Does Dratini require exactly 10 points?
No. Dratini appears in more than one quality tier in the model. The example with five Icy Rocks has 10 points, but that is not a universal exact-point requirement.
Can I guarantee Dratini with a gold pot?
No. Gold changes the ingredient bill and visitor-level considerations; it does not make this species selection certain.
Can I replace one Icy Rock?
Some alternatives exist, but the replacement can change quality or dish. Use the exact-mix browser rather than assuming any ingredient is safe.
